Kilele Muzaliwa is currently conducting doctoral studies at the YOKOHAMA National University in Japan. His research focuses on investment and trade in Asia and Africa, using the ASEAN and SADC as case studies. He obtained an LLM at the same University. He completed his LLB at Université Catholique de Bukavu, Congo. He is also Enarque and holds an MPA from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration, Congo. Prior to his studies in Japan, he worked on policy conception and assessment as Administrateur Civil at the general secretariat of the Prime minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He also has experience as a journalist in coverage of armed conflicts, human rights and governance issues in Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Congo.
