Ernest Morales-Tonda

Profile
Ernest is an Associate at MGC Arbitration. He specialises in international arbitration, with a focus on commercial and investor-state disputes, and is a dual French and Spanish qualified lawyer.
He has experience working as counsel and administrative secretary in proceedings governed by a wide range of procedural and substantive laws, in the banking, construction, and energy sectors, among others. Prior to joining MGC, he has worked at the Paris, Barcelona and London offices of renowned international firms.
He is a lecturer at ESADE Law School and has also been the university's Coach for the Vis Moot competition since 2017. He has authored several published articles and organized events in the field of arbitration.
Ernest holds an LL.M. in International Arbitration from Sciences Po, as well as a degree in Law and a Double Masters in International Business Law from ESADE. He has also completed the Latin American International Arbitration Course from the Geneva Centre for International Dispute Settlement and the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.
He is a native Spanish and Catalan speaker and is fluent in English, French and Portuguese.
