Dr. Mohammad Hossein Tavana

Dr. Mohammad Hossein Tavana is a legal advisor and an independent arbitrator. He specializes in dispute resolution and international commercial arbitration and regularly advises in different field of Iranian and international commercial law. He is a member of the Board of Tehran Regional Arbitration Centre and a member of Iran Central Bar Association. He previously served as Project Manager at Tehran Regional Arbitration Centre (2018-2020), research associate at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London (2016), visiting scholar at the Department of Law, Stockholm University (2015), and research assistant at the Center for Islamic and Middle Eastern Legal Studies, University of Zurich (2012-2013). Dr. Tavana obtained his PhD with distinction, summa cum laude, in the field of international arbitration law from University of Zurich. He holds an LL.M. Degree in International Commercial Arbitration Law awarded by Stockholm University and Bachelor of Laws from Shahid Beheshti (National) University (Iran).
