Lawrence is a Senior Associate and Group Coordinator in Babalakin & Co., a full-service commercial law with offices, in three major cities in Nigeria - Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Lawrence has 8 years practice experience in Commercial Litigation, International Commercial Arbitration, Insolvency, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency/FinTech Legal Advisory. He regularly provides accurate, timely and effective legal opinion to wild range of corporate, individual and start-ups both locally and internationally. Lawrence has also been actively involved in case management and strategy building in diverse and complex litigation and arbitration and has represented the interests of clients in various courts and arbitral tribunals.
Overtime, Lawrence has demonstrated great capability and superb understanding in his chosen areas of specialisation. He is skilled in trial advocacy, legal research, case analysis, legal writing and advisory. Lawrence obtained an LL. B Degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, in 2013, and thereafter obtained post-graduate certification to practice law from the Nigeria Law School, in 2014.
