Mr Gasparotti is a dual qualified lawyer: Italy (avvocato) and England and Wales (solicitor).

He has acted as counsel on investment and commercial arbitrations under the principal arbitration rules, including ICSID, UNCITRAL and LCIA. He has advised on issues of international investment law and international trade law as well as on economic sanctions regimes, and has experience of commercial and cross-border disputes before the Italian courts.

Mr Gasparotti holds a Laurea Magistrale (LLB equivalent) in Law with honours from the University of Padua and a Master of Advanced Studies in International Disputes Settlement from the University of Geneva / The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
