She is currently an Assistant Professor at the IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance. She obtained her PhD in Laws in 2018. Previously, she was an advocate and solicitor of High Court of Malaya (Malaysia).
After joining the academia, she is actively participated and published on dispute resolution, Islamic banking, Islamic social finance and Islamization of knowledge since 2013.
Her latest co-authored research "Settlement of Islamic finance disputes in the United Arab Emirates" can be found in one of the Routledge Islamic Studies Series titled Dispute Resolution in Islamic Finance: Alternatives to Litigation (edited by Adnan Trakic, John Benson and Pervaiz K Ahmed).
