Somtochukwu Attamah graduated from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, where he earned his LL.B., and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar after completing his professional training at the Nigerian Law School. He earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Energy Law, Natural Resources, and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Pennsylvania State University and is currently pursuing a dual-title PhD in Education Policy and Leadership and Transdisciplinary Research on Environment and Society at The Pennsylvania State University in the United States. His education in Nigeria and the United States provides an understanding of environmental and alternative dispute resolution law. He has an interest in global environmental governance and arbitration, and his international academic background supports his continuing work in environmental and alternative dispute resolution law.
