Francis Aondongu Wayo is a graduate of law from Obafemi Awolowo University, where he completed coursework in International Trade and Investment Law and Intellectual Property Law. In 2022, he was an arbitration intern at Pensbury Attorneys and Solicitors, Nigeria. Francis has received specialized training in arbitration and intellectual property from organizations such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He has won several arbitration competitions, including the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators Essay Competition. He currently serves as an Intellectual Property Ambassador for WIPO Nigeria and as the Director of Research at the Youth Centre, International Law Association (Nigeria) Committee on AI and New Technologies. He is also a member of My Intellectual Property Law Guide (MIPLG).
