Arijit Sanyal is an India-qualified Advocate and an Associate with the International Disputes, Litigation and Arbitration team at Skywards Law. He advises clients on high-stakes commercial and investment disputes with significant cross-border elements, and has experience working on complex arbitrations conducted under the ICSID, ICC, SIAC, UNCITRAL, and ad hoc rules. His work spans a wide range of industries, including construction, oil and gas, mining, technology, and the fast-evolving electric vehicles sector. In addition to representing clients in contentious proceedings, he is closely involved at the pre-dispute stage, assisting with strategic planning, investment structuring, and risk mitigation to help clients avoid or efficiently manage potential disputes. Arijit graduated with distinction in International Law and received advanced training at the Arbitration Academy in Paris, where he was awarded the Laureate of the Academy. He maintains a strong academic and thought-leadership orientation, regularly writing on contemporary issues in international arbitration, contributing to platforms such as Digital Coffee Break in Arbitration, and actively engaging with the Vis Moot Alumni Association through mentoring and professional initiatives.
