Profile

Dr. E. Prema is a Professor of Law at the VIT School of Law, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. She has been teaching Constitutional Law and International Law for more than fifteen years. Her research focuses on how international law interacts with new and emerging technologies especially in areas like digital regulation and dispute resolution. Dr. Prema has presented her work at many respected international conferences, including the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs in Vienna, the Gonzaga Human Rights Conference in Florence, and the Berkeley Center on Comparative Equality and Anti-Discrimination Law in Utrecht. Her recent research looks into topics such as cybersecurity in outer space, legal responses to Ponzi schemes, and the increasing role of soft law in conflict resolution. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Laws (LL.D) at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University and also supervises Ph.D. research in Public International Law.
