Reuben represents clients in complex and high-profile corporate and commercial disputes. Known for his pragmatic approach to solving problems, his practice focuses on fraud and white-collar matters, including the pursuit of injunctive relief and other remedies, private M&A claims involving pre- and post-closing disputes, and other corporate and commercial matters. As co-lead of the firm's Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets Group, Reuben also has significant experience in disputes involving digital assets and blockchain-based businesses. He has acted for both major cryptocurrency exchanges and investors in cases involving fraud, conversion, and market manipulation. Notably, he obtained and executed Canada's first Anton Piller order involving cryptocurrency. Reuben has been interviewed and quoted by Canadian and international media on emerging issues in this space.
