Jonah Godswill Ekwere is an LLB graduate of University of Uyo, Nigeria. He is an international public law researcher and currently serves as an intern at the institute for african women in law (IAWL) and is an alumnus of Harvard's Aspire Institute Program.

Notably, he is a published author at the American Society of International Law (Asil insights) and the International Law Association of Australia (Ila Reporters, Australia) among others.

His research focuses on transnational dispute resolution, global regulation and international jurisdiction. He has presented his peer-reviewed research at the 39th Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS) Annual Meeting.
