Dr. Hege Elisabeth Kjos
Profile
Dr. Hege Elisabeth Kjos is a senior lecturer and researcher at the University of Amsterdam, Department of International and European Public Law. She is also Assistant Editor of Transnational Dispute Management, and Board Member of Arbitration International.
Her courses and research at the University of Amsterdam focus on international law and international dispute settlement in general, and international investment law and arbitration in particular. She coordinates the Amsterdam International Law Clinic, and she serves as Director in the Master program in International and European Law.
Dr. Kjos holds a Juris Doctor degree, a Bachelor of Arts degree, and a Cand.Mag degree following studies in the United States, the Netherlands, France, and Norway. In 2010 she defended her doctoral dissertation titled The Interplay Between National and International Law in Investor-State Arbitration.
