Judith Gill is a partner in Allen & Overy LLP. Judith has been a partner in the litigation department since 1992. She graduated in Jurisprudence from Worcester College, Oxford University and in 1985 qualified with Allen & Overy as a solicitor. In 1990 she obtained a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration, with a distinction, from Queen Mary and Westfield College and in 1998 qualified as a Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts - Civil).
She has extensive experience in all forms of arbitration proceedings: both local and international. She also has wide-ranging litigation experience with an emphasis on commercial disputes and insurance-related work. She is the joint author of a new edition of "Russell on Arbitration" and has produced a number of articles in her capacity as News Section Correspondent for the International Arbitration Law Review. Judith is also a member of the Board of Directors of the London Court of International Arbitration, a Committee Member of the International Arbitration Club, a member of the ICC UK Arbitration Group, a Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
