Biwater Gauff (Tanzania) Ltd. v United Republic of Tanzania: according to an ICSID tribunal,
Tanzania violated its BIT with the UK. Despite this finding, Biwater recovered nothing as the
tribunal found insufficient causal link between its economic loss and the government's
conduct.
