The 1958 New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (the Convention or NYC) entered into force for China on 22 April 1987.[1] In anticipation of this landmark date, the Chinese Supreme People's Court issued on 10 April 1987 its Notice regarding the Implementation of the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards Acceded to by China (1987 NYC Notice).
