How relevant are advocacy books by judges to international arbitration practitioners? On first consideration, not very. Arbitral procedure is less standardised than court procedure; the interaction of lawyers from different legal backgrounds in international arbitration moreover creates dynamics not typically encountered in domestic court proceedings.
