Pursuant to the 1965 Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other States (the "ICSID Convention") all Contracting States undertake the obligation to recognize and enforce the monetary obligations arising from ICSID awards as if they were a final judgement of the highest court in its territory.
