This article reports on the most recent trends in the enforcement of arbitral awards in China. The article discusses the difficulty of drawing conclusions due to limitations on the information available and uncertainty as to precisely what information remains unavailable. The author first surveys some of the developments in the recording and cataloguing of information in this area, including the SPC's centralized database of enforcement cases, and the publicly accessible Courts' Nationwide Information Platform on Defendants in Enforcement Cases, instituted in 2007 and 2009 ...
