Abstract

The importance of protecting and preserving Underwater Cultural Heritage (UCH) cannot be overstated. However, the relevant international legal framework is far from complete. The aim of this article is to critically analyse different routes to regulating UCH, in comparison with other fields of public international law, such as international trade and investment law, from a theoretical perspective.
