Introduction

This paper considers amendments of the ICSID Regulations and Rules and Additional Facility Rules and other improvements at ICSID as a distinct further "reform path." The most recent amendments were those approved by the Administrative Council in 2006. They contributed significantly to enhancing the efficiency and transparency of ISDS at ICSID, Section II of this paper describes the process leading up to those amendments as well as the amendments themselves.
