Introduction

Recent changes in policy and the implementing measures to which they led have been the subject of various cases in the English courts over the past 3 years. In the following analysis, we will first examine the applications brought seeking judicial review of these changes (section 2), before moving on to look at the even more recent claims for damages against the government for losses caused by such changes (section 3). Finally, section 4 offers some concluding observations on these cases and their implications.
