Abstract

In the paper "Mediation Dilemmas. Teachings in the Latin American Context". Professor Armando Castenedo, an authority in Mediation in Cuba, explains the process of teaching and learning Mediation, as a dispute settlement mechanism, in the Latin America context. Prof. Castanedo specifically addresses Mediation´s main features in the Latin American culture and explains what he considers to be the most effective training for future mediators and the specific skills that they need to develop.
