The legal profession, just like other industries, is undergoing fundamental change through the growing use of autonomous computer systems (artificial intelligence, AI) able to take over part of the work currently performed by lawyers. As a consequence, software programs will augment the capabilities of lawyers, making them more productive and thus reducing the cost of seeking legal advice.
