The New 2017 ICC Rules of Arbitration

Introduction
The International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce made important changes to the ICC Rules of Arbitration that came into force in 2012 to make ICC arbitration proceedings more efficient, cost-effective, and transparent. The Revised Rules entered into force on 1 March 2017. The most important change in the Revised Rules is the introduction of the Expedited Proceeding Rules, which are fast-track rules for claims not exceeding US$2 million.
