Abstract

The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) has introduced a specific chapter on the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) and Designated Monopolies (DMs) as well as Competition Chapter. Especially, SOE Chapter of the CPTPP introduced a number of new rules and disciplines to regulate the SOEs competing with private enterprises.
