Abstract

[Addendum 20/02/2020] Since the second half of the twentieth century onwards, bilateral investment treaties (BITs) have been primary instruments for regulating investment. Yet, there is a rapidly rising trend of incorporation of investment measures within the regional trade agreements (RTAs).
