Abstract

After first looking at what Investor-State Dispute Settlement entails and how it is perceived in Africa, this paper then presents certain considerations for the development of the AfCFTA's dispute settlement provision, including arguing that the continent should consider the creation of a continental court for investment dispute settlement.
