Introduction

This discussion paper focuses on the work of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Working Group III ("UNCITRAL Working Group III") on dispute avoidance in the context of reform of the investor-State dispute settlement ("ISDS") system, and in particular on the potential establishment of an Advisory Centre on International Investment Law ("Advisory Centre").
