FDI Moot 2024

Introduction
On 4 November, the 2024 FDI Moot Globals concluded at Humboldt Universität-zu-Berlin, hosted by the FDI Moot’s co-founder, the German Arbitration Institute (DIS).
The team from OP Jindal Global University prevailed over the team from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), becoming the 2024 FDI Moot World Champion and taking home the Skadden Salver. Congratulations to both finalists!
Overall, it was a good day for teams from Asia, with 3 of the top 4 places taken by teams from India and 3 of the places 5th to 8th taken by teams from Indonesia:
- 3rd National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy
- 4th Hidayatullah National Law University
- 5th ex aequo Universitas Indonesia and Universitas Gadjah Mada
- 7th ex aequo University of Ottawa and Universitas Airlangga
In the combined written and oral group phase ranking, the top places were:
- 1st Universitas Airlangga (Team Oda)
- 2nd West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences
- 3rd Universitas Indonesia

Jody Nicholas Simandjuntak (Universitas Indonesia) was awarded the Thomas Wälde Best Advocate Award, Jianna Bajaj (O.P. Jindal Global University) was deemed the Best Adovcate of the Final.
Worldwide 175 team participated in 2024 FDI Moot with 68 advancing to the Global Final Rounds (60 in-person in Berlin and 8 virtually), or 970 students and coaches worldwide with 340 coming to Berlin.
