FDI Moot 2025

Introduction

On Sunday, 2 November 2025, this year’s FDI Moot culminated with students from MGIMO University prevailing over the University of Warsaw team in the final and winning the 2025 Skadden Arps, Trophy.

3rd place was taken by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University ahead of Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai.

5th place was shared by Gujarat NLU and Universitas Padjadjaran, while 7th place was shared by National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Universidad de San Andres.

The top written submissions were also recognized and are published in TDM in this Special Issue.

65 teams (56 in-person in Boston and 9 online) had advanced to the Global Rounds from 155 teams taking part worldwide through national and regional qualifying rounds.

We would like to congratulate the teams, all the teams, and to thank the arbitrators and memorial judges, many OGEMIDers and Young-OGEMIDers among them, for the expertise and mentorship that they made available to the students and the FDI Moot.
