The U.S. Government has released the text of the U.S.-Uruguay Bilateral Investment Treaty that was executed on October 25, 2004. The text is available at www.ustr.gov or you can download it in this issue of TDM. That BIT is the first fully negotiated U.S. investment treaty since the release in February 2004 of the draft revised Model U.S. BIT.
