Article from: TDM 3 (2005), in Arbitration - General Issues
Summary
Lloyds Open Form arbitration is a unique process tailored to the very specific circumstances
of the salvage market where most contracts are "no cure, no pay". The available list
of arbitrators and of Counsel is very limited but this results in no obvious difficulties and, in
any event, is accepted by the market as is the fact that all the arbitrators are from a single
set of Barrister's Chambers in London.
