Introduction
Like all arbitration users, clients wish to ensure high-quality decision-making. Due to the nature of the energy business, however, they are particularly concerned with avoiding ‘rogue’ decisions by a tribunal who may be unfamiliar with the particular features and context of the energy industry and related services (a concern that is less acute where a party is involved in non-technical, general commercial disputes).
