Summary

Claimant, a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands, brought a claim against Albania under Albanian Law No 7764 on Foreign Investment (LFI) of 2 November 1993 alleging damages sustained in connection with privatization vouchers issued by the Republic of Albania. The Tribunal found that Claimant had not made a protected investment under LFI and therefore the Centre lacked jurisdiction to rule on this dispute.
