Summary

In 2015, a Singapore-seated arbitral tribunal issued a partial award and a final award (the "Awards") in favour of the plaintiff, Hilton International Manage (Maldives) Pvt Ltd ("Hilton") against the defendant, Sun Travels & Tours Pvt Ltd ("Sun Travels"). In 2017, Hilton obtained leave to enforce the Awards and subsequently entered judgment on the Awards in Singapore (the "Judgment"). On 15 February 2021, a Singapore court ordered Sun Travels to pay the amounts due under the Judgment within three months (the "Time-Fixing Order"). Sun Travels did not comply with the Time-Fixing Order.
