Summary
Petitioner Gillham LLC ("Petitioner"), by and through its undersigned counsel, hereby petitions this Court for an order pursuant to 9 U.S.C. § 207 (i) confirming and recognizing the final arbitral award (the "Award") rendered on August 20, 2019 in an arbitration between Stans Energy Corporation ("Stans") and Kutisay Mining LLC ("Kutisay") on one hand, and Respondent the Kyrgyz Republic ("Kyrgyzstan" or "Respondent") on the other, pursuant to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic of March 27, 2003 (the "2003 Investment Law") and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Rules of Arbitration of 1976 (the "UNCITRAL Rules"); (ii) entering judgment in Petitioner's favor and against Kyrgyzstan in the amount of the Award with pre- and post-award interest and costs as provided therein and as authorized by law, plus the costs of this proceeding; and (iii) awarding Petitioner such other and further relief as this Court deems just and proper.
