Summary

The parties to this application (HC/OA 535/2025 ("OA 535")) were contractual counterparties to a series of agreements in Mongolia for the operations and management of a hospital. The applicants ("Applicants"), who were prospective operators of the hospital, claimed for, amongst other things, a breach of these agreements by the respondent ("Respondent"), the owner of the hospital. The Applicants commenced arbitration ("Arbitration") against the Respondent in Singapore and under the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (6th Edition, 1 August 2016) ("SIAC Rules 2016"). The tribunal ("Tribunal") ruled in favour of the Applicants and the Applicants successfully applied for leave to enforce the award ("Final Award") in OA 535.
