Summary

By Originating Summons issued on 13 March 2026, the Plaintiff applied for leave to enforce a Final Award dated 9 March 2026 ("Award") which was made by the Arbitrator in an HKIAC arbitration commenced by the Plaintiff against the Defendant ("Arbitration"). Under the Award, the Defendant was ordered (inter alia) to pay to the Plaintiff a principal sum XX XXXXXXXX, being the outstanding payment certified in a construction contract made between the Plaintiff and the Defendant ("Contract") for a project in Hong Kong of which the Defendant was the developer and the Plaintiff was the Main Contractor ("Project").
