IACL - TDM/OGEMID: Call for Reporters to prepare Case Summaries of International Arbitration Awards

3 February 2016

IACL (www.internationalarbitrationcaselaw.com) and Transnational Dispute Management (TDM)/Oil-Gas-Energy-Mining-Infrastructure Dispute Management (OGEMID) (www.transnational-dispute-management.com) are working together to create and make publicly available a database containing case abstracts of arbitral awards. The IACL project is under the leadership of Dr. Ignacio Torterola and Professor Loukas Mistelis (Queen Mary University of London), along with the TDM/OGEMID team, and aims at developing and furthering understanding of international arbitration. TDM is a peer-review online journal publishing about various aspects of international arbitration, with a special focus on investment arbitration, including access to the OGEMID discussion list.

IACL and TDM/OGEMID are currently looking for reporters to prepare the aforementioned case abstracts. Summaries are drafted in English, for which professional English skills are an essential requirement, but knowledge of other major languages is also appreciated. Abstracts are prepared as soon as possible and on a pro-bono basis, and reviewed and published by team members also working pro bono. However, full recognition is granted to participants through the publication of their abstracts on TDM and circulation on the OGEMID and YOUNG-OGEMID discussion lists, as well as on the website of International Arbitration Case Law (IACL).

Those interested please contact Dr. Ignacio Torterola ignacio.torterola@internationalarbitrationcaselaw.com or TDM publisher at info@transnational-dispute-management.com. Please include a CV and a brief note expressing interest.

IACL was created in 2010 and currently holds approximately 100 case reports of international arbitration awards, which are freely accessible www.internationalarbitrationcaselaw.com
