James Nicholson is a senior managing director in the Paris office of FTI Consulting and a member of the firm's International Arbitration practice.
James has testified before ICSID and ICC tribunals on behalf of claimants and respondents across a wide range of industries and issues, primarily involving issues of the identification and valuation of lost profits, and the valuation of businesses, financial assets including shareholdings, and other assets, and of wasted costs. James is currently acting for claimants and respondents in several cases with more than $1bn in dispute.
James has been listed since its inception in 2010 by The International Who's Who of Commercial Arbitration as one of the leading experts worldwide active in commercial arbitration; this publication has described him as "outstanding" and "highly proficient".
