Felipe González Arrieta is a senior associate within the Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Gómez Pinzón Abogados, a leading Colombian law firm, where he focuses his practice in international and domestic arbitration. He has more than 10 years of experience in international and domestic arbitrations advising and representing clients in construction, infrastructure, mining, oil & gas, corporate and commercial disputes, under various applicable arbitration rules, different seats and languages. In addition, he is an arbitrator listed in the national and international rosters of various arbitration institutions and is an active member of the Colombian Arbitration Committee.
Felipe's practice has been consistently recognized by international rankings, being noted by The Legal 500 - Latin America 2022 as a "Rising Star" in arbitration.
He is a professor at various universities and programs in arbitration and private law, author of several articles on national and international arbitration published in international magazines and blogs, and a regular speaker at arbitration events in Latin America.
Felipe graduated, with honors, from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and holds an LL.M. in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration from New York University School of Law (Colfuturo scholar).
