Stephanie Cohen is a Canadian arbitrator based in New York City.
She has served as tribunal chair, sole arbitrator, and co-arbitrator in cases governed by the ICC, ICDR, AAA, Society of Maritime Arbitrators, and UNCITRAL arbitration rules. She is also among the first thirty emergency arbitrators appointed by the ICC and a member of the ICDR International Panel of Arbitrators and the AAA Commercial Roster (including its Roster for Large, Complex Cases). Previously, Stephanie was Counsel in the international arbitration and commercial litigation practice groups at White & Case LLP in New York where she represented clients in complex, high-value disputes before international arbitration tribunals and courts. She is dually qualified as a lawyer in New York and Ontario, Canada.
Stephanie is recognized in the 2017 & 2018 editions of Who's Who Legal: Arbitration-Future Leaders, which features the foremost international arbitration practitioners under the age of 45. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the ICC Commission's Task Force on Emergency Arbitrator Proceedings, and she served on the ICDR subcommittee responsible for the 2014 revisions to the ICDR's International Arbitration Rules.
