Shafqat Abbas is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader at the University of West London's Claude Littner Business School, where he has dedicated over 13 years to enhancing the landscape of higher education in the UK. Currently pursuing a PhD on climate change and investment policy reform in Pakistan at the University of Derby, Shafqat holds an MSc in International Business with Data Analytics and an MSc in International Finance & Banking, both with distinctions. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and possesses a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. In his role, Shafqat oversees the BA (Hons) Business Studies and BA (Hons) International Business Management programmes, ensuring they meet university policies and professional standards. His teaching philosophy emphasises student engagement and employability, fostering an inclusive learning environment. Beyond the classroom, he contributes as an Academic Partnership Link Tutor and External Examiner for various UK universities, while actively participating in the Education Committee at CLBS.
