Giorgio Sacerdoti is Professor of International Law and European Law at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy and is a member of the Appellate Body of the WTO since 2001. Professor Sacerdoti has held various posts in the public sector including Vice-Chairman of the anti-bribery Committee of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). He has acted as consultant to the Council of Europe, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Bank. He is a Member of the Committee on International Trade Law of the International Law Association.
Professor Sacerdoti is also Counsel to Piergrossi Bianchini Eversheds specialising in international litigation, arbitration, contracts, investments and transport law on which subjects he has written extensively. He has often served as arbitrator in international commercial disputes and at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes.
