How to Break Into International Arbitration - Useful Resources for Young Practitioners and Students (31 October 2024)
31 October 2024
Arbitration resources for students and young practitioners are plentiful but dispersed across the web. This list consolidates essential links to young arbitration groups, specialized websites, publications, podcasts, moot competitions, law firm newsletters, top law schools with arbitration programs, and online forums into a single, comprehensive reference point.
This resource is the product of a collaborative effort between the Georgetown International Arbitration Society (GIAS), Signature Litigation, and Young OGEMID. We extend our sincere thanks to those who have contributed to this document: Mark Kantor, Independent Arbitrator; Professor Anne Marie Whitesell, Faculty Director of the Program on International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, Georgetown University Law Center; Professor S.I. Strong, K.H. Gyr Professor of Private International Law, Emory University School of Law, and Moderator, Young OGEMID; Flore Poloni, Partner, and Kimberley Bazelais, Associate, at Signature Litigation; and Devna Arora, Vice President of GIAS (2023-2024).
This list focuses only on international arbitration and does not take into consideration general dispute resolution groups. While we have made every effort to be comprehensive, some omissions may have occurred inadvertently. Contact details for the inclusion of missed links or to update any expired links in upcoming editions of this list can be found in the document.
We encourage members of the international arbitration community to share this resource widely.
